Who We Are

Ritual. Magick. Intuition. Divination. These are “a few of my favorite things”, as the song says.

Oddly, I wouldn’t say I grew up in a particularly “magical” household.

A natural intuitive, I picked up many awarenesses in my life as I lived it. I naturally gravitated toward earth based traditions, without the side order of dogma. My natural inquisitive nature lead me down many magickal rabbit holes near and far.

I bring my open curiosity and desire to share what I learned to Curio, Craft & Conjure.

I invite global magick and wonder… to be shared with the curious.

Through Curio, Craft & Conjure, I invite you to experience more magic in your life.

Being raised in a very spiritual and culturally open household, I always had an interest in Magick. At some point I became aware that not everyone’s world view was expanded in that way.

Through my upbringing and travel, I was exposed to the many differences throughout the world as well as the similarities.

Graduating from culinary school and working as a chef in some of Charlotte’s finest restaurants allowed me to learn about different food traditions and ways to honor them.

I bring these influences to Curio, Craft & Conjure in hopes of expanding cultural awareness, healing modalities, and magickal traditions from around the world, here in my hometown.

I searched for many years as a young adult for what my personal spiritual beliefs were. For a long time, I didn’t realize that I had options outside of the standard organized religions. In my 30’s, I finally figured out that my personal spiritual path is just that… my own personal path.

Once I let go of the thoughts of what my spirituality should be, I found what it is – my own way of connecting to the universe, the beings in it, and my dreams for my part in the universe.

I would have loved to have had a place like Curio when I was going through my awakening process. I think I would have practically lived there! But being in a position to help others as they begin or continue on their own personal spiritual paths, that is pretty freaking amazing.

I am thrilled and honored to be a part of Curio, Craft & Conjure with these fabulous women.

I was born in a little town in Mexico called Matamoros. I spent the first few years of my life in Cárdenas, San Luis Potosí, before moving to Charlotte.

Ever since I was little, I remember being drawn to art.

When art chose to express itself through me, I started with pencil drawings, then colored pencils, and now painting with acrylics, oils and watercolors on canvas, glass and anything i can get my hands on, really.

I have always admired the impact that art has on the on people.

Looking at a piece of artwork can heal the soul, connect worlds, and mend barriers. I will offer and select artwork for Curio, Craft & Conjure that invokes feeling, speaks to the soul and binds different worlds and cultures.
