Floor Sweeps can be used in place of or in addition to smudging a space. You can use floor sweeps to call in specific energies with intention and remove energies that do not belong. 

Instructions

FOR CLEARING/PROTECTION FLOOR SWEEPS: Sprinkle floor sweep throughout your space while thinking of your intention. Allow to sit for a little while or up to overnight (if you do not have animals), then sweep everything up while sweeping TOWARDS your entrances (so sweep out of your space).

FOR CALLING/BLESSING FLOOR SWEEPS: Sprinkle floor sweep throughout your space after clearing it. Allow to sit for a little while or up to overnight (if no little ones can access it), then sweep everything up, sweeping INTO your space from entrances to the "heart" of your space.
